Dr. Paudel has over 15 years of experiences in participatory approaches, social movements, environmental governance and rural livelihoods. His special interests are in conducting academic and professional research on the issues of policy process, biodiversity conservation, natural resource management, environmental governance and sustainable rural livelihoods mainly through political ecology perspectives. He is currently coordinating the CIFOR-RRI research project in Nepal focusing on forest tenure and rural poverty.
