Mr. Mani Ram Banjade

Graduated from Wageningen University and Research Center, the Netherlands, Mr Banjade has over 12 years of experience in research, publication and social mobilization. He has worked for government, bilateral projects and (I)NGOs. His expertise is particularly on social learning, forest and natural resource governance, participatory action research and adaptive collaborative management. He has published peer reviewed articles in international journals such as International Forestry Review and Forestry Chronicle as well as in national journals such as Journal of Forest and Livelihood. In addition to these, he has written a number of chapters in the edited books such as “Knowledge Systems and Natural Resources: Management, Institutions and Policy in Nepal” and “Adaptive Collaborative Management of Community Forestry in Asia: Experiences from Nepal, Indonesia and the Philippines” (published by CIFOR) and contributed in editing of books and journals.
