Mr. Luintel has been actively involved in development actions and participatory action researches with special focus on natural resource management since 1988. During this time, he has gained command over concepts and principles as well as managerial tools and techniques for participatory ecosystem management, social analysis, poverty reduction, policy advocacy, and project management, monitoring and evaluation. Moreover, his involvement in various organizations (including government, non-government and private) has provided him with ample opportunities to analyze and think critically, creatively to adapt to the fast and ever-changing environment, and ability to act effectively and efficiently. Further, his direct involvement in critical thinking, research and development works as a leader of the multidisciplinary team in multicultural environments (both within Nepal and internationally) boosted his career with high degree of morale, commitment and responsibility. He has been the co-founder of different non-governmental and private sector institutions. He has not only authored and co-authored a wide ranges of publications including scientific articles, action guide book, book chapter, policy briefs, discussion notes, research reports and project reports but also reviewed and edited the national level professional Journals both in Nepali and English languages. Currently, he is focusing himself on consolidating the scientific and indigenous knowledge on, and facilitating the dynamic relationship of, environmental resources and the associated social systems from the civil perspectives.
