ForestAction has reached almost one-third of the country’s geographical area i.e., 25 districts covering all the ecological and development regions. Following Figure gives an indication of its coverage.
Since its establishment in 2000, ForestAction has been established as a key player in forestry/environmental sector in Nepal, and in Asia due to its dedicated team of professionals in diverse field. ForestAction team comprises of a unique combination of expertise in diverse aspects of environmental governance, natural resource management and livelihoods. The disciplinary expertise includes: policy process, decentralization, community management, social learning, institutional processes, gender and social inclusion, livelihood promotion, innovation system, critical analysis, knowledge management and publication, etc.
